The UT *GAVE UP* trying to understand the durable partner provisions. 'Not a good use of court time'. Bang on analysis of all of the drafting issues.

Read the case (it’s short and easy to follow) for a sense of how ridiculously obscure & complex our immigration rules have become. No-one - including the Home Office - understands them. As the Upper Tribunal suggests, they have lost the clarity of law: a real rule of law issue.
