I am rewatching Koyaanisqatsi for the first time in a while (with the Blank Check podcast), and there are movies I love more or think are better but no movie has ever imprinted on my brain harder than when I stumbled upon it on PBS as a kid.

To paraphrase Stand By Me, “I never saw any movies later on like the ones I saw when I was 12. Jesus, does anyone?”
