@samueljohnson Over 2/3 casualties of WWII were on the eastern front because Europe attempted to let the Nazis destroy the Soviets because Communism anywhere is a threat to capitalism everywhere. The Soviets were never allies with the Nazis and to claim otherwise is hilarious revisionism. And the only genocide carried out in the Ukraine during the Soviet era was done by kulaks burning necessary crops to prevent collectivization, starving millions.

Yes, the Nazis & Soviets were allies, an incontrovertible historical fact. I recommend you do some reading on the history of Ukraine. Red Famine by Anne Applebaum, say, or the works of Timothy Snyder.
Soviet communism belongs in the dustbin of history. It's dead. Finished. Neoliberal capitalism will follow. They aren't alternatives.

Everyone is conditioned to be an anticommunist from birth. Communist parties are completely banned in many western countries. As an example, Cuba, blockaded by the United States to a point where they receive almost 0 external resources, has a higher literacy rate, life expectancy, and access to medical care than the United States itself.
