"He bought Twitter because he's a narcissist."

No.

I repeat. No.

Just because you don't understand the game fascists are playing, doesn't mean there isn't a game.

He bought Twitter to normalize fascist thought as part of a plot to get a future president in his pocket, and protect the accumulation of capital at all costs in the face of a boiling planet.

Must is a muppet; he's not an 8 Chan poster. Stop being so fucking lazy.

I considered correcting the typo here but I gotta be honest... "Must" has a certain ring to it.

Again though, I cannot stress this enough:

Elon Musk did not spend 44 billion dollars to collect some fave stars and hang out with Joe Rogan stans on Twitter. He isn't in business with the Saudis to protect the shitposting rights of PinnochetEnjoyer1492.

Wake up. The fascists are actively trying to alter reality by normalizing their ideas and beliefs from the top down; in media, through the courts, THIS is LITERALLY the fascist creep.

"How did Nazi Germany happen?"

LIKE THIS.

@AnarchoNinaWrites I don’t understand how an educated society is getting sucked in without a fight.
What are we missing?

@Agora The people with all the money who own everything and control both for-profit media, and political systems rigged by money more or less agree with the idea that some deserve to live in opulence, and some deserve to be ruthlessly exploited even if it kills people.

Once you accept that kind of baseline reactionary ideology, you have more in common with the fascists than those who would oppose them.

tl;dr fascism is a tool of oligarchic power even if it doesn't seem like it on the surface

@AnarchoNinaWrites ok, so I understand why the rich want to go along with this. But, it doesn’t explain the middle and lower class (mostly white and Hispanic)
Florida is an excellent example of this. The people elevating DeSantis and supporting his fascism are mostly ordinary white and Hispanic people.
@Agora I don't think those people are fooled; I think they more or less believe a fascist order would benefit them. They're wrong; but not understanding how fascism works it not exclusive to the American right. Indeed, I would argue that Pig Empire education systems purposely narrow the study of fascism so as NOT to implicate reactionary capital - who in turn, try can dictate what is and isn't taught, by buying political power.
@AnarchoNinaWrites @Agora They definitely do. Making sure children get the full picture requires either homeschooling/unschooling or additional education outside of school with intention. I'll have to educate my daughter myself, her dad doesn't have the willpower and his wife is...vacuous/unconcerned.
