WA residents: Sign in PRO for the #ShieldLaw (SB 5489)

This bill protects access to reproductive health care services and gender-affirming treatment in Washington by shielding patients, helpers, and providers from out-of-state investigations and prosecutions.

Legal Voice, Pro-Choice Washington, ACLU of Washington, and League of Women Voters all support this bill.

There are two different bills for the Shield Law, one in the House and one in the Senate, and both have hearings on Tuesday. So please sign PRO on both!

Washington state residents can “sign in” to legislative hearings to note their position on a bill for the record. When signins skew heavily for or against a bill, legislators notice -- so it's a good way to have an impact. And it's easy!

2. Fill out the rest of the form
