My friend Max referred to this diesel Rabbit as the "Thunderbunny" because it was so noisy, but it was the perfect NYC vehicle. 36 mpg, a handy hatchback, and you could park it anywhere thanks to its small size, impact bumpers & 5-speed "theft deterrent system."
