@holden @jkemsley A large fraction of ACS membership fees goes into printing and shipping C&EN. Why not go online only, keep C&EN what it is, and use the remaining funds for DC lobbying and to support chem ed in schools? It would also minimize C&EN’s environmental impact (plastic, paper, CO2).
