@Agora The people with all the money who own everything and control both for-profit media, and political systems rigged by money more or less agree with the idea that some deserve to live in opulence, and some deserve to be ruthlessly exploited even if it kills people.
Once you accept that kind of baseline reactionary ideology, you have more in common with the fascists than those who would oppose them.

Having a deep sense of injustice is one of the traits of these right wing terrorists. Lack of impulse control, low cognition. Fast to pick up on first information. Slow to drop with new information. Struggle to remember things or remember accurately. Time blindness is very common. Desire and a need for simple rules without ambiguity.

The big difference between the left wing and right wing Low executive functioners seems to be ridgity around sex and the fact we drop outdated information easier. Some of that is the way you cannot prove information to them cause of how religion defines truth.
Folks with ADHD are particularly vulnerable to high control cults and fundie faiths do to unmet needs for structure.

someone walks up to you and sells a promise that you will know how to interact with all people. An answer for how to live your life morally and know for sure if you’re doing it right. And the ability to blame your mistakes on God’s will. Have somebody there telling you what to do at all times. Free from the problems of ADHD paralysis

So something that like really tipped me off into the most interesting rabbithole was 9/11 Bush Did it Conspiracy theorists, and where are they now. But also the 1999 Seattle WTO protests.
And the Green Party… and domestic abusers and antisemitic stuff. And points they meet with libertarians and primitivists. 🫣(like WTO protest)

I met a few Nader voters and found out…. All are ADHD so far. And undiagnosed at the time. I even met someone ADHD who was at that protest (WTO 1999) voted Nader, very into socialism, became a Berner, and snapped out when medicated. Still believes in progressive politics but sees stuff differently than before. More complicated than magic wand promises.
