@melsaywhat It is illegal where I live. In fact my house has a fan that you can’t turn off under code lol. Odd how so many places have wildly different rules.

@Jordan @melsaywhat This is what I was going to say too… I thought it WAS illegal/against code. But like you said Jordan, guess it’s down to different areas/countries having different rules.

@zak8022 @melsaywhat I think it’s relatively new here. I had an older house that defiantly didn’t have an always on fan. New houses do. So I’m assuming the code was updated for new builds. But I’ve never had a place that didn’t have a fan at all… aside from the issue of smells… the potential for mould is very high.

I wonder if it's because both bathrooms have windows, but still it gets so humid that we had to buy a dehumidifier.
