I don’t get #greed as a recursive, iterative thing like the Tories do it. Or like the #GOPFailedAmerica elites. Or #Russia’s oligarchs. Is it genuinely not knowing when one has enough and so worrying about that? That can’t be it. Is there different greed, eg. wanting all or vastly most of a limited commodity like a birthday cake? Or are they the same? Surely one could have no grounds for worrying that one’s portion of cake wasn’t (conspicuously) the biggest. Is it a defensive mechanism.
I mean by that last comment, the more one ‘accumulates’ (euphemism), the more one is psychologically disposed to be defensive about that wealth. And that defensive mechanism may soon manifest itself as very ugly violence, hatred and indecency.
