#Deutschland πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ (also known as #Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ) should send #Ukraine πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ tanks, but the #UnitedStates πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ needs to offer tanks as well.

If #America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ wants to fight a proxy #war against #Russia πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί, then they need to commit to winning the war as sending #HIMARS is not enough.

πŸ‘‰πŸΎ Germany has stalled on sending tanks to Ukraine. Here's why the Leopard 2 is so important https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/20/europe/germany-leopard-2-tank-ukraine-explainer-intl/index.html

@darnell According to @Trouw American tanks run on #cerosine instead of #diesel, so American tanks would require a separate logistics chain for a limited number of tanks. That’s why America is not to keen to offer tanks.

@HendrikLinde @darnell @Trouw

American tanks run using turbines that drive hydraulics systems and motors. They can run on anything liquid that burns. *Ideally*, they'd use kerosene/cerosine (jet fuel), but diesel burns just fine enough in those conditions as well.
