Our culture constantly pushes the lie that your value as a human being comes from what you do or produce or offer to others.

That's garbage.

You matter no matter what.

You are sacred just for being.

❤️

Shabbat Shalom.

@TheRaDR I was thinking recently about when someone asks "So what do you do?" It's always a work answer. Why don't we say "I fish, snuggle with my dog, drink red wine or beer, go on long walks, ride my bike, spend time with my wife. What do you do?"

@phoccer @TheRaDR I don't like the questions "What do you do?" or "What's new?".

"What have you been up to?"... Are you implying that I am up to something or should always be up to something??

Asking, "What do you like to do?", is inquiring about interests and experiences.
