Can we please stop making jokes about having strokes? It's not funny at all.

My mother had a hemorrhagic stroke at the end of 2016 and it's a miracle she survived.

@melsaywhat my dad had a stroke a few years back. It has made his ability to deal with his autism decline. He is not a happy person.

@looneybyron I talk to my Mom regularly (a few times a week). Stroke recovery is very different by person. I'm happy to share experiences and coping mechanisms. It's also challenging for us.

@melsaywhat my father is sadly on another continent stuck with my narcissistic mother. I try to offer him advice but he’s even more stand offish than before.
