I made the mistake of ordering myself some Marks and Spencer shortbread cookies when I got my friend's birthday present from the British Cornershop.

Now I crave cookies that I have to have imported, and I'm fresh out of shortbread. 😂😭

@BlackSheepBeth I can send a good recipe (uses brown sugar) if you're interested, but maybe that's not the point?

Wayne’s Shortbread

1 lb. butter
4 C flour
1 C brown sugar
1/4 tsp (+/-) salt (maybe 1/2 tsp, even with salted butter)

18-20 minutes @ 350º
(Wayne's the buddy who gave me the recipe years ago)
