House Rep's domestic attack on Americans has begun:

"Yellen said that because of the 'debt issuance suspension,' the Treasury Department would be unable to fully invest a portion of the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund, among other impacts.

Yellen had written another appeal last week, warning that failure to meet the government's obligations would cause irreparable harm to the US economy, the livelihoods of all Americans, and global financial stability."

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen wrote to Congress saying that the US Treasury had started its "debt issuance suspension period" amid a standoff in Congress over increasing the country's debt ceiling.

Every day we see a Republican Party that has no useful policy agenda. Only culture war messaging and brinkmanship on "spendingā€ that will make every part of the economy itā€™s worst possible.

We need to make sure they implode in elections.

Our work here continues.

There's a lot of good in people; even in the neighborhoods with flags flying for a twice impeached insurrectionist.

A very prominent one in this deep red Texas community finally took theirs down and hasn't put it back up.

It's a start. We wave to them, and talk to them - not so much about politics - but about real life, day to day things. It's personal.

They know which side we're on - and yet when we engage it doesn't really matter. We're friendly with each other, neighborly, and it's a good thing.

Person to person, I think we can make this happen. There are some that are beginning to see. It's a constant exercise in dispelling the lies and speaking the truth - over and over and over again.

"Whatever it takes."
