My algorithmic feed (which Twitter defaults to) has now expanded from Musk, Ben Shapiro, Glenn Greenwald (in Portuguese) to *a lot* of Ted Cruz. Social Media algorithms have always favored Republican content, but this is just so overt, so salient, so crappy.

@DavMicRot I can’t believe how differently I behave on Musk’s Twitter compared to here. The right-wing hate is so prevalent there, it drives me to be mischievous.

In response to Scalise’s tweet about “woke” CEOs being called in front of Congress, I commented: Republicans are “woke” and elected a Drag queen to Congress!

Seriously though, who would have guessed Republicans would be the first party to elect a Drag queen to Congress? (Is Kitara, a.k.a. George Santos, the first?)

@DidiQ @DavMicRot I know it’s convenient for everybody but why do we and the media continue to call them Republicans? Aren’t they a totally different party now ? Shouldn’t it be the American Facist Party wouldn’t that be more accurate?
@moredread @DidiQ @DavMicRot They should, but I think the media is wanting to drag out the story as if the loss of democracy is some future event, it's not. Our democracy is all but lost with the fascists in power now. If this were a football game the Fascists have driven down the field and are at the 25 yard line, touchdown in sight - the Dems still sitting on the sidelines dreaming up some Hail Mary to get out of this mess. (I'm not a big football fan but I tried for something simple).
