On the Today programme (BBC Radio 4), the London Metropolitan Police are still saying “it’s a few bad apples” while admitting around 1,000 officers are being investigated for sexual assault. The UK government has decided to go for “men in skirts will invade women’s safe spaces” as a reason to block Scots self-ID legislation for trans folk. And nobody wants to discuss Nadim Zahwani’s failed attempt to avoid paying millions in tax which is not resulting in him being charged. Ugh.

We've got a similar trend gaining momentum here in Canada, too. My heart aches to see so many people who can't stomach the thought of other people being happy. And my heart aches for those who can't just live their lives in peace.
