Did Guiliani just tell an interviewer that the IRS handed over the tax returns of people like Wilbur Ross to Trump.... and that Trump was having Guiliani VET these rich people, by going over their tax returns??? And that Trump told him to 'just take them home and go over them'??? And....vet them for WHAT??? Donations???

I hear ya. The talking heads on 'our' side need to make clear that even tho the 2 cases have similarities.... that doesn't change the facts of the Law, for either man. Trump's case will march on. This is a golden opportunity to change the news cycle back to PorkyFive and his inept band of criminals!

I'm really hoping that Jeffries starts to bring a little 'kick ass' to the party, now that he's got the leader role. I've had countless talks with @stopgopfox about how the Dems really, really need to start playing 'ugly' if we're ever going to get out in front of the Reps BS and smear campaigns. The Dems need to start 'taking some joy' in trashing on the Reps, just like they do to us. I think it would open some eyes....and maybe ....minds!

We need to start letting our Reps and Senators know that we're totally cool with them sniping back at those loony tunes Republicans and their shameless, ignorant hate spewing. It's not like we don't have plenty of ammunition to use against them, all based in fact. Our side just needs to 'polish the delivery' and then get ahead of the Rights nonsense for a change.

@JBKB703 Very true. It's completely possible to keep the high ground, moral and otherwise, while eviscerating your opponent. I think one big, missing component from the Left has been their reluctance to show any 'happiness/pleasure' in taking down their opponents. That's something that has worked well for the Right. We need to learn to be more openly...... smug(?) in our being right.

Standard vetting technique. The one example given, as noted, became Commerce Secty.

I think mountains would have to be moved before Wilbur showed his taxes to anyone. Especially given his (at the time) recent history with Deutchebank and Cyprus and all..... just sayin... It just doesn't feel like a 'normal vetting'.
