@scenario I suspect there are plenty of trump supporters in the Guard, just as there are in the police. Not sure it's the majority. Also, even amongst the Trumpers, many will not want to risk their careers and possibly prison time.

@Burnt_Veggies Our National Guard is probably not as poisoned by Fox News as our military is. That may vary state by state of course. But my bigger concern is our local police forces. Here in Portland and up in Seattle, most of the cops are Proud Boys. And they’ve had plenty of practice in subverting Democracy here since the summer of 2020.
