This would have been unimaginable a year ago, yet here we are now.

Mind you, blue check status was always a terrible status symbol. It's just more terrible now.

The funniest aspect is how the Taliban is literally praising Elon Musk, saying he's "making Twitter great again".

If I were to do an anti-Twitter ad campaign, I'd put a full page ad in the New York Times that says:

Twitter: Loved by the Taliban

Then I'd put in real quotes from top Taliban officials about how much they love the service.
