ben@Squig I think it's not obvious to people that the global mean surface temperature includes a lot of ocean surface temperatures, and that water has a higher heat capacity than most things.
@sqrt2 Politicians in Germany should be aware that the waterways, especially the Rhine, will have a lot less water in the future, that the current draught is there to stay, and that things like the flood at Ahrtal are gonna be much more common (so we need to be better at retaining water that comes down like that).
