The moral of this thread is to understand the deep core reasons of the Christian-right. It’s got zero to do with Jesus or the Bible, or morals or ethics. They use it to justify lawlessness. And we see it every day with them. Criminal immoral politicians waving Bibles.

Have you read Jonathan Haidt’s book, The Righteous Mind; ‘Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion’ ? IMHO, It’s well worth a read and explains all of this really well.

@curtis ahh, now I remember why I had an issue when I first started reading this book was the quote in the first page
