LindseyOkay, I've realized that running this server myself is actually more expensive than paying for mastohost so I'm going to be moving over there. Which also means a new redirect etc. Esp since I can't just import.
IDK how to maintain the redirect and kill my droplet - so I think I'll leave it on for like a month to move people over and stuff and past that fuck it?
Dusty Burwell@lindsey speaking completely out of my butt here, but if you set up the mastohost server with the same domain, could you cut the redirect out?
@dustyburwell I don’t think so - based on some convos I’ve had with folks it wouldn’t just work unfortunately
cthos 🐱@lindsey that’s probably all you need to do? You could do something wild like implementing the api calls it makes for that via edge workers or something but that feels like extreme overkill.
I’d figure that a month is plenty of time for all the followers to get the notification.
