Wow 94.7 #KMET shown in the last picture here. In SoCal that used to be THE rock station. "The Mighty Met" Before #KNAC and #KLOS .It could have been #KLOS but I think #KMET had Lucifer La Rock on Saturday night at midnight. It was the only time and place on the dial to hear #metal in the early 80s.
94.7 changed hands, and its format... from #KMET to "The Wave". A smooth jazz station.
#KLOS took over as the station that played all the #LedZepplin type #rock.
I believe #LuciferLaRock was DJ #JimLadd at #KMET . He also had #TheMightyMetalShop
I forgot about this part of my teen years until I saw this picture.
