Hot take: you social critique online will not change anyone’s personal decisions, and does not move a social revolution forward. It must happen irl in our communities, starting with families and connected groups of people with shared goals for liberation.
@AnarchoN8V dude (or dudette)
Seriously this. Shit has been driving me nuts lately - lots of complaints very very little actual attempt to do literally anything.

@pat dude or dudette works, I’m also fond of “homie”.

Ikr it’s been mostly talk and no action.

@AnarchoN8V perfect homie! I don’t know I started to write a rant detailing my complaints and instead will engage in another way… what are some good ideas for getting involved in your community?
I’m in the process of trying to start a co-op here, got any advice?
@pat love the co-op honestly. I think it’s so challenging to build out our community because socially it’s not accepted. But finding others to build a co-op or different method of living with aligned goals is huge. I also like when houses/co-ops have a shared community task or at least focus on building connections and sharing the reality of becoming more self-sustaining. While living out the praxis we claim to have.
@pat I think getting folks together and talking about community disaster response is a way we can start rebuilding a joint need community response that hardly happens. We all we need to know how to find water or help after a major disaster… might as well be the anarchists starting the brainstorm. 🤷🏽
@AnarchoN8V I like this. Also maybe, dual power infrastructure? How can we use new technology to basically empower people to be free? Maker stuff for medical devices, food, etc?
