@mergerson I’m a long-time Steelers fan (born and raised in the ‘Burgh), and I remember the Cowboys in the 90s billing themselves as ‘America’s Team’ and it’s led to me being a lifelong Cowboys hater. They were definitely very popular at the time, but the hubris of calling themselves that was (and still is) just too much for me.
