I don't like the word "test" here, it makes it feel like an ephemeral experiment.

Fediverse existed long before Twitter turned nightmare even for developers.

I do worry about how can Mozilla tackle moderation. I don't think they as a company have done it before.

@petrescatraian Yes, I expect a half-assed attempt, that just leaves some people in a dead server that closes down in 6 months.

Mozilla is odd as a community as well, it looks like servers that have identity survives best.

All of this depends on who admins it, what views it got, etc. Fosstodon.org has an identity, I don't know what Mozilla's identity in Fediverse is.
