@thewritertype this is where I fail to accept your framing of the future of this conversation and reframe it as: why are doubling down on the juvenile position? No one likes a self appointed arbiter of what's is and isn't funny. If something isn't funny "to you" move on laddy, be Maddy, Saddy, whip whip whip along laddy.
@chris My comment about making sense was a general throwaway about life in general, not intended as a response to your pun. And I wouldn’t dream of trying to tell anyone what they should find funny; after spending at least half my working life as a professional comedy writer I’m still trying to decide what I find funny myself, never mind other people.
