Inflation-adjusted wages continue to drop.

Meanwhile, the federal minimum wage hasn’t been raised in 13 years. Adjusted for inflation, its value is the lowest it's been in 66 years.

You don’t have to be a financial wizard to see why some workers might say the hell with it.

@rbreich and the right-wingers in my FB feed will refuse to accept that minimum wage is too low and that workers deserve a living wage.

The right-wing hates the poor and wishes they could just die already.

@rbreich That's especially the case in southern red states where wages are so low, and jobs so few. People go on SSDI while waiting on their retirement years.
