On the North Island of New Zealand there is a unique Waitomo Gloveworm Cave. The limestone grotto is over 30 million years old. The cave got its name from the bioluminescent worms Arachnocampa Luminosa. In nature, they are found exclusively in this region.
@Itz_Raven I’ve visited there - absolutely magical place.
@Itz_Raven behold, the wonderful glowing gloveworms!
@Itz_Raven Oh my…. Brings back memories, I loved my visit…. Just gliding through the cave so beautifully lit by glow worms hanging from the ceiling, nooks and crannies…
@Itz_Raven I’ve been there; absolutely magical but we weren’t allowed to take photos. Thanks for posting this.
