zaurg got into cryptocurrencies. he bought shitcoins at December 2017 peak on a credit card. someone on SA bought him a "SELL YOUR SHITCOINS" avatar and custom forum emoji.

@davidgerard Fair--the whole "someone who's good with the economy" line is straight out of a ~10yr old Kanye tweet, I suspect that came first but I never hung out on SA, it'd be very weird to find out Ye did

Cool. The problem with both the "good at the economy" tweet having a know your meme entry and the whole thing being credited to dril and Ye having been shut out of twitter and having a history of deletion is there's zero chance of finding what's now a 10yr old single tweet.

And of course I might be misremembering and it was someone else but fairly sure it was him. Ah well

Combining multiple sources makes sense for that sort of thing—you assumed your ref, I mine, both got it
