@flexghost You kids just don't know what it was like back in the day when a CD cost $20 which is like $70 now and the only way to find new music was to leave the state. You brats with your MySpace and Napster don't know how good you have it!
@InorganicFella yeah we have it awesome. Deadly climate change, home prices out of control, college costs making education out of reach, the end of being able to retire, global inflation, an elderly generation who pulled the ladder up behind them and someone who has a hardon for ministry.
@flexghost I did have the benefit of cheap college ($75/credit hour?) but unfortunately I wasn't smart enough to do anything productive with it. I blame the other stuff on boomers. The difference between my father's generation and mine is shocking. I'm just happy that HE has medicare and social security still. Our last conversation regarding my retirement ended with him asking me, "What are you going to do, just die?"
