It’s astounding to me that the default “For You” timeline on Twitter is as bad as it is, and that’s how most people there experience it. I just did a random sampling of 30 tweets in a row:
- 23 were liked by someone I follow
- 4 sponsored tweets
- 1 “Based on your likes”
- 1 from the category “Viral tweets”
- Only 1 tweet from someone I follow
