Long ago, when I used Twitter, it was by way of a third-party app, #Tweetbot. I never saw ads, and I never saw posts promoted by Twitter’s algorithm. I was vaguely aware that my experience of Twitter was different from most people’s.
Of course Musk could not allow that to go on.
As much as I dislike Musk myself, you should be fair. By using that bot you are depriving Twitter of the revenue needed to operate the service.
I personally don't care about the service, don't really care if it dies, find Musk to be morally bankrupts and an asshole.
That being the case, I don't use Twitter
I use a network-wide adblock in my household, if ad-supported platforms die because of it that’s fine
