Of course, BBC is suggesting pandemic is over. I'm sure we'd all agree this is not the case.
@kityates The BBC commentary on Covid has been influenced by the narrative of all UK Governments to minimise and deny the risk of infection. It reminds me now of those who take up an increasingly ill evidenced position and then get rather pompously stuck, digging in deeper. The tardy acceptance of airborne spread by the WHO springs to mind as a parallel. Both organisations have an obligation to inform. Perhaps that obligation, amid institutionalism, makes honest review tough?
