@Kichura yeah thats an annoying one, but who really wants to build for every major linux distro* 

• here's a list off the top of my head:
• .deb (Debian-based)
• PKGBUILD (Arch-based, fun fact: i've never written one of these)
• .rpm (...Fedora?)

and i would use like flatpaks but i cant even figure out how you're supposed to build one of those 
it was the same with appimages for a while until i found pyproject-appimage
