I find the mechanics much like Twitter, but no bells and whistles
Harder to find people and topics without an algorithm feeding you content, but my feed on Twitter has become pathetic - large accounts predominantly (tho some good ones) feels like I lost good friends
Finding some here, some on Post (already becoming pay-per-article and still not fully developed/mature), and some on CoSo (yeah, finally got comfortable with that, not bad)
@tmstrickl_tim I think I'm on too many platforms. lol....bc I can't keep up! I haven't been on CS in a long time. So now i"m on here and post.news and also spoutible.
@Lovepurr I find different platforms have unique good characteristics. Post has features in development (4 too long) and low interaction. Mastodon has mature tech and no gimmicks, but maintaining core friendships difficult.
CoSo seems to try to hard, but has been much better than my first impression.

not happy w/ overall tone of Media/news outlets, government officials, leadership at work, etc. regarding CoVID. Really hoped more economy of remote work/activities would have been retained .
Glad to see Twitter looking more like itself. really genius before and critical to surviving the isolation of the pandemic. Maybe #TyphoidElon will become more hands-off or bail out altogether and let it return to fiscal stability.
I like having these other options. Have you heard anything from Tribel? Yeah. I know. *another* one. It is 😩, but I am not taking any of them too seriously now. Glad to have your friendship
