@HempEdification At the risk of nit-picking Aust has been supporting Indonesia to commit atrocities on land Indonesia occupies, currently West Papua and formerly Timor Leste. Not PNG.

West Papua is a part of PNG in the same way West Timor is a part of East Timor, or Haiti is a part of the Dominican republic. They share an island.

It is the Western half of the island of New Guinea, and politically distinct from the nation of Papua New Guinea (itself consisting of 'Papua' and 'New Guinea' merged into one nation. Different story there).
