For everyone who hears, “if you're young & healthy, you have nothing to fear from #COVID19.”

Four-time Tour de France winner: “I just wasn't able to come back... There's definitely a heavy impact on the heart. It's not just like having the flu, like a lot of people think... a lot of guys are really struggling with after-effects 2 or 3 months down the line - feeling fatigue, feeling as if they don't have the same energy levels, strange heart rate readings as well.”

@augieray
I argue with people every day because they refuse to wear masks.
I just told my neighbor that over 1,500 people died yesterday In the U.S. and he said....
"That's not even a percentage point because of the population"
Nobody cares until they need a go fund me...

@palin @augieray I still wear a #mask in shops and when using public transport... but I have largely given up confronting people.

When I do have the chance to discuss the issue civilly, I try a compromise position, like: "I can understand why you don't want to wear a mask in a relatively empty pub. But where is the benefit of risking infection while shopping for cornflakes?" If they respond politely, I can then reiterate the case for reducing the overall number of risk scenarios one enters.
