I expected logistics to get hit hard this December due to overcapacity - it didn’t happen. In fact availability is matched quite well to demand. That’s not a sign of recession. We still have a huge shortage.
Some guys at Tesla/Twitter and JP Morgan getting laid off is not my idea of a recession “leading indicator”.

California in general has always been a cheap place to eat (maybe because so much food comes from there? Idk) but in my experience outside of place like the Disney Grand Californian most food is very cheap much like Vegas. Booze & drugs cheap too.

I find the exact opposite experience. I was here often prior to 5 years ago and that was indeed the case, but in the last 2/3 years - I feel like Newsome's subsidies have completely done a reversal on consumer prices, Things use to be cheaper across the board in CA vs. NJ, now it's the complete opposite.

A slice of pizza 4.50, a bowel of ramen 16, a burger 8 - at the same chain in NJ is 20-30% cheaper. No way it's this much in Michigan,

Industrial sectors, yes there are needs, which is directly tied to the infrastructure bill. Like it was in China this is only temporary.
Service jobs are no long needed.
There is no structural resurgence of brick and mortar outside of stimmy induced.
We live in a mature economy within the developed world - it's not hard to grasp.

We're no longer a mature economy. We are now a third world country. We just a 20 year depression. And we've finally come out of it. Time grow back to carrying capacity which is much much higher
