Do you mean choosing local/decentralized topologies where the scale is kept at bay? Or something else?
@darkscience Definitely maybe! I don't have practical experience here and I don't know enough to propose solutions. It's possible the remaining solution space is simply unsatisfying. If you could defy Zipf's law and conjure a network of instances where everyone has a personal relationship with the admin, you'd at least have different problems. I dunno how to make it easier to start smaller instances in a way that doesn't empower bad actors.
