Anytime I see a Tesla on the road with me, I image there is a "Student Driver" bumper sticker and a pimply-faced teenager at the wheel. Maybe a 8 year old would be more accurate.
@grumpygamer why? I am 44. Most of people I see are old or families. For a while it was the only way to get a decent electric car why is that something you have the urge to shit on?
@jackmott Because Teslas' self-driving is a death trap for others. I like electric cars, just not made-up self-driving modes. It's going to get people killed and not just people who buy Tesla's, but innocent people.
@jackmott @grumpygamer I too bought it before Melon revealed himself, and admit that I bought into his lies about autonomy. But on my first drive on “autopilot” it tried to drive right over cones and into construction zone with fresh concrete. Never trusted it again and now drive like any other vehicle. My hands are always on the steering wheel and foot ready near the brake pedal. It’s actually yells at me if I look at my phone even briefly, unlike my Volvo
