@orci Modern people seem to understand this also. People I know who have cats know that once the cat has settled in, it must not be disturbed.

@orci I know. That used to be my advice too, since I live with dogs and they don't complain too much if you just push them off. But then I realised that there are different rules for cats, and I'm in no position to tell cat people what they can do.
