PopeyI miss how most U.K pubs used to be way back before the 90’s. A few benches around the walls and maybe a bit of saw dust on the floor. There are a few little gems still around thou. Ammonyte@skipperdave68 try the Old Dungeon Ghyll in Great Langdale. Wonky floors wonky tables, genuine old bits and pieces on the walls and, err, unsophisticated service ;-)
