"Any new station will need a car park". Why?
The museum and all the houses in the village are in easy walking distance - and the narrow roads surrounding St Fagans don't make it suitable for the extra traffic volumes a Park & Ride would generate.
@gethin76 Just seems to be a feature of all new stations. Park and ride for both cars and bikes. At the moment it's just a discussion.
@bobsrailrelics Just doesn't seem to be a whole lot of point having one for a station there.
Ironically St Fagans messed me up completely today. Had to get the train to Swansea to drop something off with a friend. Flooding there meant trains got diverted via the Llantwit Major loop. 4.5hr round trip from Newport 🤦🏻♂️
