So, the details on the UK anti strike proposed laws are out.

Government can take action, even AFTER a strike date is legally announced.

Employers will be able to sue unions and sack staff under government's new minimum service legislation

Employees will lose blanket unfair dismissal protection if they are told to work but refuse to do so

Unions would have to pay damages.

This is everything it was feared to be - a direct attack on protest AND unions.

The Lords will not let it through in this form, and will fight it all the way. Starmer has already pledged to repeal it, if it is passed.

@kennethb @JohnWest_JAWS Starmer has pledged to repeal all anti-union laws within his first hundred days as PM according to Angela Rayner recently. I'll believe it when I see it.

Make sure he is in office, then you can see it happen. It will not happen unless he is.
