@dungeons Hm. Changelog says "avoid" requires a stealth check.

Do short rest/go to town require checks?

...if not, "Short rest" is a better way of avoiding combat than "avoid". :) XD

I'm aware of that "exploit", likely short rest will lead to facing the same monster unless you avoid in the future. Going to town will remain the same since its sort of assumed you're just turning around and going back the way you came 🤷‍♂️

@dungeons I believe the hammer, thrown, isn't any better than using an improvised ranged attack (still 1d4), so there is no need to buy it, especially since it would lose us a hand. Is my understanding correct?
