Ted CutezynskiReading about leftists being predatory and abusive; I hate that it happens, but I do like when it's shared because brave victims do a lot when it comes to holding people responsible and saving others. NO predator should be protected in ANY space, no matter how popular they are.
Jason Lindley@shrugdealer I mean leftists and conservatives basically…have the same parents when you think about it. The thing is that yes the Left AS A RULE holds itself more accountable then the right and also experiments with new practices in accountability more.
@Lunarshocked Leftist spaces seem to protect and harbor predators more by granting them extra chances or saving them from criticism. Especially in Anarchist and Animal Rights groups where clique mentality puts people on pedestals. The right seem to just be gross and embrace it.
@shrugdealer that’s what I meant though. I think 2021 was the summer where that shit came to an end and I think a lot of left spaces started to realize how many narcissists we let into leadership positions (huge part of what’s been happening). You may want to check out this transformational justice speaker Kai Cheng Thom. I coordinated a workshop and she talked about this topic specifically and I was so god damned glad she did.
