One of my friend is a translator from Japanese to French and a part of her job now is re-read and correct automatic translation and, most of the time rewrite it from the beginning... (It takes more time and as she starts to have more "real" translations jobs, she, sometimes refuses this kind of tasks that are not well payed and really annoying...)
Ariaflame@LisaBanana @Mer__edith She should definitely refuse or charge more for such tasks because as I understand it they are more difficult than doing the translation themselves..
@ariaflame @Mer__edith when she began her activity it wasn't easy to refuse jobs, but now she can allow her to do it more often as she have enough more interesting propositions. But she also knows that those jobs ends up on the desk of a new junior translator who will probably be disgusted by the job because of it...
