The Washington Post
DID NOT
replace their "share on twitter" icon with a "share on Mastodon" link.
I saw an illustration that showed it. My mistake

This needs doing across the internet. Twitter is Alex Jones, twitter is Truth Social, twitter is Tucker Carlson.
CORRECTION: The image I saw must have been to illustrate a story, and NOT the WaPo changing links.

I am gratified by edit, hopefully this edit will propgate.

End twitter, promote freedom and the tusk, save the world.

@kevinrns @dankennedy_nu will you do this with your blog?
@SteveStein @kevinrns Steve, I’m at the mercy of WordPress dot com. What I can tell you is I removed the Twitter feed I had on my blog and replaced it with a box saying where I am now.
@kevinrns @SteveStein Also, I’ve read that you can’t really have a “Share on Mastodon” button because of the thousands of different instances. I’m not sure whether that’s right or not.

@dankennedy_nu @SteveStein

Over on the side, depending on your vesion, is your thread on top, then everyone you follow, then notices, then search,

The next icon is all of this instance, and then the whole federation of instances that is followed by this instance, which can be almost all, depending on your instance.
